Berenice Monarez, DNP

Berenice Monarez was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion from the University of Texas at El Paso in December 2007. Ms. Monarez went on to pursue an associate’s degree in nursing from El Paso Community College in December 2009 and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at El Paso in May 2013. She worked in the Intensive Care Unit while earning a Master’s degree in Nursing in May 2016 from the University of Texas at El Paso. Currently, she is attending the Doctorate of Nursing Practice program at the University of Texas at El Paso as she practices as an Adult-Gerontology, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner within El Paso Pulmonary Association. She has been part of El Paso Pulmonary Association since 2017 and practices in both the acute and clinical settings.
