HOW TO ACCESS your online consultation with EPPA via DOXIMITY

doximity makes it possible for patients that do not have an email address to access telemedicine using a mobile number. In this video, Dr. Hector Payan explains the steps to access your online appointment using the Doximity telehealth platform.

What is TeleVideo?
TeleVideo offers patients' the greatest flexibility in communicating with their doctor by offering the same high quality service from in-person visits in an online format. Through this system, your physician can diagnose symptoms, review test results, offer treatment options, and much more.

How do I participate?
Want to schedule a Televisit? Contact our office at (915) 532-2477 to make an appointment and let us know you would like a consult through TeleVisit. Once your Televisit is booked, you will be sent an email with your appointment details.

We encourage you to start your televisit at least 20 minutes in advance by following these easy steps:

  1. Log into your Patient Portal online or through the Healow app. You may also follow the link in the email provided to you for your visit.
  2. Fill out the patient questionnaire and any other requested information, then click "Proceed".
  3. Make sure you have a secure Internet connection and a webcam, as these are essential to your Televisit.
  4. Click "Start Televisit" to join the live waitroom.
  5. Once the session is finished, you will be disconnected.

Will my personal information stay private?
Yes, your information is 100% private. Your privacy is important to us, so we made sure that TeleVisits meets the strict privacy measures outlined by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Your TeleVisit is just as safe and private as an in-person consult at our offices.

Payment, Insurance, & Reimbursement
The current State Laws and Reimbursement Policies (TX) indicate that Texas Medicaid will reimburse live video and online consults in cases where a provider is authorized to deliver the services. Contact your insurance provider for specific coverage information.
Texas Private Payer Laws Requirements:
Each issuer of a health benefit plan must adopt and display in a conspicuous manner on their website the policies and payment practices for telemedicine medical services and telehealth services. They, however, are not required to list payment rates.
